The challenge: leading on sustainability but lacking the tools.
Connections isn’t new to sustainability. In fact, they were Norway’s first travel agency certified by Eco-Lighthouse, all the way back in 2008. They’ve always believed in greener meetings & events, but up until recently, few of their customers had it high on their agenda.
Connections have had sustainability on the agenda for years, but the big demand just wasn’t there… until regulations came knocking.
With the introduction of new sustainability directives and CSRD requirements, the tone shifted. Suddenly, clients were asking how they could understand the environmental footprint of their corporate trips, and Connections needed a way to give them answers.
Before Qondor’s sustainability reporting tool, they did their best with a manual "traffic light" workaround, marking greener options in proposals. But accurate emissions data? That wasn’t available. Until now.

Connections has been using Qondor since it was first introduced to the open market in 2014. And for the clients who do take sustainability seriously? There are ways to get creative. One of Connection’s clients now uses emissions tracking to power an internal ‘climate credit’ system. Staff cycle to work or eat plant-based meals to earn the right to attend a company retreat, basically making the retreat climate neutral.

Without Qondor, Connections admits sustainability reporting at this level wouldn’t be happening at all.
“We wouldn’t have dared to start without Qondor. The manual effort would’ve been enormous.”
Today, they manage hundreds of projects across the platform. In just six months, they’ve created 200 projects and sent nearly 4,000 customer emails, all managed from within Qondor. It’s streamlined, scalable, and saves them time in every RFP.
